PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUNDBilingual in English and Russian, I obtained a doctoral degree (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology, San Francisco Bay Campus. I have extensive experience working with severely disturbed adults and children with multiple deficits and multiple life problems who have been diagnosed with such serious psychiatric disorders as Major Depressive Disorder, Bipolar, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Schizophrenia, ADHD, Personality Disorders, other behavioral disorders that are common among children and teenagers, and geriatric disorders such as Dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease. I have provided psychological services to inmates with mental disorders, sex offenders who are mentally ill, and people who suffer from drug and alcohol problems. When necessary, I have intervened in crisis interventions with agitated, suicidal, and aggressive offenders.
